Obituary for Billie Jordan
Billie Marie Jordan, 91, of Lufkin, was born December 28, 1929, the daughter of the late Carolyn Due (Ponder) and William Henry Martin. She passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 in a local hospice facility.
Mrs. Jordan was a loving wife and mother. She was retired from GMAC as an accounting clerk. She enjoyed fishing, reading, and dining at fine food restaurants.
She is survived by her sons, Henry N. and David Faires of Lufkin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Henry Norman Jordan, Sr. in 2005; and her sisters and brothers-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Truitt Dixon, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Loye S. Kennerly.
